Do you know the reason why the sky is blue? The answer is here: When sunlight enters the Earth's atmosphere it is scattered by the particles of Earth's atmosphere. According to Rayleigh's scattering law, light with less wavelength is scattered more.Therefore blue light which has less wavelength in the solar spectrum is scattered more (fascinating!). This is the reason why the sky appears blue.
